SHE RECEIVED A DOCTORAL DEGREE IN ART AND ART EDUCATION AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY, NEW YORK CITY. SHE STUDIED SCIENCE AND STUDIO ART DURING HER UNDERGRADUATE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AND EARNED HER MFA AT ART CENTER COLLEGE OF DESIGN, PASADENA, CA. HER PEDAGOGICAL INTERESTS INCLUDE NEW WAYS OF VISUAL ART TEACHING WITH THE COLLABORATION OF FINE ART, DESIGN, AND TECHNOLOGY. 

SHE TAUGHT VIDEO ART: "CONTEMPORARY VIDEO AND TIME-BASED EXPERIMENTATION" AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY'S TEACHERS COLLEGE; 4D STUDIO FOUNDATIONS (TIME-BASED VIDEO-INTERMEDIA DIGITAL PROCESS) AND INTRO TO COMPUTER ART AT BALL STATE UNIVERSITY; NEW MEDIA DESIGN, GRAPHIC DESIGN, VIDEO/MOTION GRAPHICS, DIGITAL FOUNDATIONS, AND ANIMATION AT GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY; AND DIGITAL VIDEOPRINT DESIGN, AND DIGITAL IMAGING AT HUDSON COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE, NEW JERSEY.
